The honey liqueur Bärenfang with 33% vol. originates from East Prussia. Its main ingredient is high-quality honey. It is produced using a complex manufacturing process, mixed with high-proof alcohol, and stored in tanks for several months for clarification and flavor enhancement. Bärenfang contains only natural ingredients, with no added flavorings. Bärenfang can be enjoyed neat, over ice cream, or mixed in hot tea, as honey grog, or with milk. In 1877, distiller Peter Weidmann surprised the citizens of Celle and the Lüneburg Heath with his fiery and spicy Ratzeputz. Kosaken Kaffee, a coffee liqueur with 26%Vol. is made following a classic recipe. Only the finest coffee beans of the "Arabica" and "Robusta" varieties are used for this specialty. The coffee is ground in-house, coated with alcohol in several stages, and then combined with sugar, glucose, caramel, and other ingredients to create the final product.
