Stichpimpuli bockforcelorum is an extraordinary liqueur both in taste and appearance. This 35% liqueur from the monastery distillery at Kloster Walkenried is said to have wondrous qualities.The name Stichpimpuli is derived from some of the key ingredients of this liqueur: Stichos comes from Greek and means "large quantity"—in this case, referring to a large amount of herbal extracts. Pimpernelle is a herb also found in Goethe’s famous “Green Sauce.” Pulque is nothing other than the sap of the agave plant.
