Schöllnitzer Spreewald Bitter is an original East German herbal liqueur with 32% vol. It has always been produced according to the original recipe from the Spreewald. This recipe originates from a family tradition dating back to 1524 and gives it its particularly typical, spicy bitter note. Production and bottling take place in Rinteln.

In 1895, Gottlieb Vetter from Wunsiedel created the recipe for Sechsämtertropfen. Since then, it has been made according to the original recipe. The secret of its taste lies in the extracts of herbs, berries, and roots from the Fichtelgebirge. Sechsämtertropfen has a distinctive spicy-bitter flavor. With this relaunch, Dujardin Imperial firmly established itself as a premium brand. The new, appealing bottle shape, the high-quality and tradition-conscious label, the V.S.O.P. designation, and the natural cork with seal embossing all signal to customers the high value and quality. The Production: Brandy is named after both its raw material and its production process. It is made from spirits, specifically wine distillate, which is distilled to less than 86% ABV. Distillation occurs in two steps. The first distillation produces the "rough brandy," and the second distillation yields the "fine brandy," the actual "heart" of the wine distillate. After distillation, the spirits are aged and matured in oak barrels. The distillates "breathe" within these barrels. Oxygen enters through the pores of the wood, creating bouquet and flavor compounds that, combined with the color and flavor components leached from the wood, give the wine distillate its characteristic flavor and color.

This exceptional grain spirit enjoys a long-standing tradition and popularity in its native Sauerland region. Crafted as a fine Kornbrannt with 38% ABV, it matures for a minimum of two years in small oak casks, imparting a distinctive amber hue and a mild, smooth, and refined character. Recognized for its quality, Ganz Alter Schneider has been awarded the Golden Prize of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) in Frankfurt four times.
