This recipe originates from a family tradition dating back to 1524 and gives it its particularly typical, spicy bitter note. Production and bottling take place in Rinteln.

The honey liqueur Bärenfang with 33% vol. originates from East Prussia. Its main ingredient is high-quality honey. It is produced through an elaborate process, mixed with high-proof alcohol, and stored in tanks for several months to clarify and enhance its aroma. Bärenfang contains only natural ingredients, with no added flavorings. Enjoy Bärenfang neat, over ice cream desserts, or mixed in hot tea, as honey grog, or with milk.
