Schwarze Wacholder with 34% ABV owes
its distinctive flavor to handpicked juniper berries. These are carefully
distilled in-house following a traditional production method, under the
constant supervision of our experienced master distiller. The additional 2%
alcohol, above the standard requirement, enhances the juniper's characteristic
yet mild taste.
For the 32% Swarte Magen,
only fine, selected herbs are used according to the traditional recipe. This
gives it a light bitter note. Fruity and tangy citrus extracts impart its
popular bold flavor. Swarte Magen is a pleasure both neat and on the rocks with
a slice of lemon.
Bachmann originates from the Dortmund
liqueur factory founded in 1884 by the Hageböck family. To this day, the 36%
ABV herbal liqueur is produced according to the original family recipe. Its
balanced blend of a variety of herbs, fine Jamaican rums, and a subtle coffee
note gives it its distinctive, aromatic taste. It is sweeter than bitter,
setting it apart from other herbal liqueurs. Over time, Bachmann
has become a legendary specialty, not only in Dortmund but also among those who
recommend it as a secret tip among friends. It has a notably high spontaneous
taste acceptance and is a delightful spirit for any occasion.

The secret of Dujardin
Imperial lies in the heart of France: the best wines, fine distillation
craftsmanship, and extended aging give it its uniquely smooth character. Mild
and harmonious in flavor, this refined brandy has preserved its French

In 2004, the brand's image
was completely revamped. With this relaunch, Dujardin Imperial firmly
established itself as a premium brand. The new, appealing bottle shape, the
high-quality and tradition-conscious label, the V.S.O.P. designation, and the
natural cork with seal embossing all signal to customers the high value and quality.
The Production: Brandy is named after both its raw
material and its production process. It is made from spirits, specifically wine
distillate, which is distilled to less than 86% ABV. Distillation occurs in two
steps. The first distillation produces the "rough brandy," and the
second distillation yields the "fine brandy," the actual
"heart" of the wine distillate. After distillation, the spirits are
aged and matured in oak barrels. The distillates "breathe" within
these barrels. Oxygen enters through the pores of the wood, creating bouquet
and flavor compounds that, combined with the color and flavor components
leached from the wood, give the wine distillate its characteristic flavor and
color.
Bärenfang was born in
East Prussia many years ago and has lost none of its well-known, excellent
taste to this day. The production process is very elaborate due to the high
honey content, which is greatly appreciated by connoisseurs. As of now, this
Bärenfang is also available in a 0.5L variant here in the online shop. Until
recently, it was only available in grocery stores!
Steinhäger may only be
distilled and produced in Steinhagen according to EU law. For Original
Schlichte with 38% vol., only selected juniper berries are fermented and
distilled. In a separate distillation process, fine grain distillate is
created. Juniper extract and fine grain distillate are then carefully distilled
again in large stills. This Steinhäger distillate is reduced to drinking
strength with water from its own well, filtered, and stored until bottling.
