Er wird dreifach in traditionellen Kupferkesseln destilliert und mindestens vier Jahre in handverlesenen, ehemaligen Bourbon-Fässern gereift, um den vollen Geschmack zu entfalten. Hergestellt wird er in Kooperation mit der ältesten lizenzierten Whiskey-Destillerie der Welt.
Im Aroma verströmt Proper No. Twelve süße, blumige Noten, die an Vanille und karamellisierte Birne erinnern. Der Geschmack ist sanft und ausgewogen, mit Aromen von geröstetem Holz, Vanille, Kakao und einem Hauch von Honig.
