Schwarze Frühstückskorn with 32% ABV stands out for its distinct yet mild Korn flavor. This character comes from select grain varieties from the Westphalian grain region. Steinhäger may only be distilled and produced in Steinhagen according to EU law. For Original Schlichte with 38% vol., only selected juniper berries are fermented and distilled. In a separate distillation process, fine grain distillate is created. Juniper extract and fine grain distillate are then carefully distilled again in large stills. This Steinhäger distillate is reduced to drinking strength with water from its own well, filtered, and stored until bottling.

Schwarze Wacholder with 34% ABV owes its distinctive flavor to handpicked juniper berries. These are carefully distilled in-house following a traditional production method, under the constant supervision of our experienced master distiller. The additional 2% alcohol, above the standard requirement, enhances the juniper's characteristic yet mild taste.

The Steinhäger Schlichte Urbrannt with 38% vol. is one of the oldest and finest distillates of German distilling art. Distilled according to the ancient recipe and the elaborate production methods of our ancestors, it is a specialty of extraordinary quality. Triple distilled and barrel-aged, Schlichte Urbrannt achieves its incomparably smooth character and perfectly rounded juniper note. The hand-crafted and traditionally shaped ceramic jug further emphasizes its uniqueness and authenticity.

In 1895, Gottlieb Vetter zu Wunsiedel created the recipe for Sechsämtertropfen. Since then, it has been made according to the original recipe. The secret of its taste lies in the extracts of herbs, berries, and roots from the Fichtelgebirge mountain range. Sechsämtertropfen has a distinctive spicy-bitter flavor.
